Over on dead.net, there is a commenter(bolo24) who seems like he/she has inside knowledge on upcoming releases. He/she has been correct in his/her clues before. In any case, this is yesterday's post, presumably foreshadowing the Dave's Picks 10 release:

"Hunky Dory

Been traveling quite a bit lately and haven't checked in here for some time.

Did I miss anything?"

People over on the dead.net have lots of theories, but thought I'd post it here too.

What comes to mind when you hear: "hunky dory"???

it doesn't conjure up anything for me; or am I missing something obvious?

Summer of '70 at the Fillmore West, just before or after the release of "Workingman's Dead" and prior to Bear's incarceration, based on the "clues" provided.

"Hunky Dory...been traveling quite a bit lately and haven't checked in here for some time.

Did I miss anything?"

The Dead left the Bay area at the end of April, 1970 and embarked on a six week, 17 show tour hitting mostly college campuses on the east coast, along with a night at the Fillmore East in New York and spending a couple days overseas in England. Despite the spotty completeness of recordings from this run, it’s an epic tour, giving us some of the very best shows of the year - the fabled and iconic May 2nd show at Harpur College easily springs to mind.

Who ever bolo24 is, must be laughing at the fuss they have stirred up .
It is always fun to play the guessing game .Sort of like hearing the Dead, "what will they play tonight ?".
No mater what they put out their will be a grousing here, in which I will defend...somewhat (and join the nitpicking )...their choices , and most everyone will be disappointed that they didn't put out some other date . Unless they magically find some missing 67-68 show .
I like the Lambert and Gans comment . , "the show takes place between 1965-1995 and has Jerry Garcia on guitar."... Now THAT is one I will get !
